Fractal is partnering with one of our best games Ev.io for a monthly recurring event. We have been running the popular zombie bash / Fractal Survival mode (you can read more about it here). This time around, we are trying something new, let us know if you enjoy it! Read below for more details.

About Ev.io

Ev.io is a Fractal Launchpad game. It’s a play-to-earn blockchain FPS, and ranked top 5 in Polkastarter Gaming’s Top 5 Blockchain FPS Picks (2022). Equip a character skin, weapon and sword to start earning e (which converts to SOL) for every kill. You can find Ev.io on Twitter and Discord.

How to play

For Mar 2023, Fractal will be launching its Deathmatch Earn event in Ev. From Mar 20–22, everyone who plays in Ev PvP Deathmatch mode will earn bonus e earning upon successful kills, without holding Ev NFTs or anything else in their wallet.

Fractal will be providing a $5000 prize pot which will result in a significant earning bonus within the 3-day window. This is the only opportunity in Ev where non-NFT players can earn directly from playing the game, and rank up on the Fractal S1 Seasonal leaderboard for Ev. For existing NFT players, this becomes an earning boost and a quicker way to level up in Season 1.

To participate:

• Go to Ev’s project page on Fractal, click “Play Now”
• Log in with your Ev account and link it with the Fractal Wallet in your profile
• Pick the “Deathmatch/Team Deathmatch” game mode to start

Players are ranked on the Fractal leaderboard by “e earnings”, which they earn based on Deathmatch performance (namely, killing enemy players). All players competing during the tournament will receive e earnings for every kill they make. E earning is an in-game Ev currency and can be cashed out for USDC at players’ discretion. Payout is instant: the bonus earning will be made instantly in Ev upon every kill via e earnings.

There’s an earning cap per day, which will change based on how quickly the prize pot is earned. Note from Ev: the earning cap will be many times more than what the current 24-hour earn cap is for standard earn modes, since it’s an enormous amount of money distributed in a short period of time.

The March tournament will start on Mar 20, 10pm UTC and continue for 3 days, ending on Mar 22, 10pm UTC.

Note: players receive boosted earnings for having Ev NFTs equipped (10% boost for common NFTs, 10.5% for rare, 11.0% for epic and 11.5 % for legendary). There’s a max of ~35% boost (equipping 3 is the max, so 3 legendaries is ~35%). If you don’t have an Ev NFT, you can buy one on Fractal. Or, you can rent one for free (see the #scholarships channel in the ev.io discord).

Ev Season 1

Ev Season 1 is currently live on Fractal. The Deathmatch earn event happens within S1. Players are encouraged to use the temporarily earning boost to rank up on the Seasonal Leaderboard faster.

Seasonal winners are awarded Ranked Achievement Proof of Play rewards from Fractal which can be redeemed for exclusive skins, prized invitationals and other perks. You can read more about Ev S1 here.

Anti-Cheating

Fractal and Fractal game partners reserve the right to disqualify tournament players in the event of cheating.

It is considered cheating and is strictly prohibited to:

• Tamper with the game to gain an advantage over other players
• Use third-party software / macros to automate gameplay
• Use third-party software to modify game data
• Share your wallet or account
• Tamper with your reported score
• Exploit a bug to gain an unfair advantage over other players

Cheating will result in disqualification from the tournament and forfeiture of any leaderboard prizes.

Fractal also reserves the right to terminate cheaters’ accounts and prevent entry in future tournaments. Fractal reserves the right to update its anti-cheating policies.
